***FREE WEEK’S SAMPLE IN PREVIEW FILE.
This product was designed to give students daily practice with acquiring new vocabulary. Each scene will focus on four new vocabulary terms. Students will use the context clues in the sentence on the daily template to decipher the word’s meaning. They will also identify the word’s part of speech. You can help guide your students to create their own definition. You can also help them brainstorm any synonyms associated with the word. Finally, you return the scene to find how that word is illustrated within the picture. Then, you return to the daily template to write a sentence using the new vocabulary term based on the scene. Over the span of four days, students will be exposed to four new words. On the fifth day, students can take an assessment over those words.
This product can be projected onto a whiteboard or interactive board, or you can print copies if you wish.
