Would you like daily lessons that teach not just grammar and spelling rules, but exercises that make the students write using these rules as examples?
Writing should not be separate from grammar or spelling, but connected.
There are exercises that model sentences as well as paragraphs. Some are taken from writers such as Maya Angelou and Bob Marley. Apostrophe and Comma Rules are given in simple worksheets that the students can keep in their notebooks for easy access.
Literary Terms are used to teach writing. There are 32 spelling lists of 10 words each where the student studies spelling in an accessible way. Studying 10 words ending in "edge" or "ff" like ledge, hedge or doff, muff each week makes spelling easily understandable. The students start seeing how the words connect to the sound.
