Here is a Power Point file exported from SMART Notebook file with a main page calendar covering September through May. Each school day is linked to a different writing prompt - 182 different Writing prompts. (Free-write every other Friday and Five-Word Wednesday every other Wednesday opposite) Students decide if their writing for the day is narrative, informational/explanatory, argument, or just descriptive practice. Upon clicking each option, it will drop off the screen if it is incorrect, the correct choice grows. They write and learn the types of writing.
SmartNotebook doesn't transfer perfectly to PowerPoint, so you may need to re-link and tweak things.
Each Tuesday and Thursday writing prompt page then has a blue button that will take students to a paragraph to edit. The answer key is invisible underneath the paragraph, after completing, they can tap the white space and the answers will fade in. Printables are available online.
This free version gets you the first week of writing prompts and the shell I used to create it. You can take it from there or look for the full document that will get you through the whole year in my store. Buy it once, I'll update the calendars annually on the full year versions so purchasers can re-download.
