Product Description
This is a bundle of my daily writing prompts for the fall months (September, October, and November). Each month includes 28 writing prompt cards, journal covers, and writing pages. Each month includes more prompts than there are school days, so you can pick and choose which prompts you would like to use.

Prompt cards are included in full color and black & white. In addition to the 28 writing prompts, a page of blank cards are included so that you can write your own additional prompts if needed.

Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:

September:
Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:
-Would you rather have apple juice or apple pie? Why?
-What would it be like if you were as small as an ant?
-Finish this story starter: I love it when...
-Would you like to go apple picking? Why or why not?
-Make a list of things that are soft. Use your words to make sentences.

October:
Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:
-What do you like to do in the fall?
-What would it be like if you were a scarecrow?
-Finish this story starter: I don't like it when...
-Would you like to play in the leaves? Why or why not?
-Make a list of things that are orange. Use your words to make sentences.

November:
-What makes your teacher happy?
-What would it be like if you were a turkey?
-Finish this story starter: Oh no! The turkey...
-Would you rather take a picture or be in a picture? Why?
-Make a list of zoo animals. Use your words to make sentences.

The cards are numbered 1-28 and do not correspond to specific dates, so you can use them in whatever order you like. You can also have them at a journal center and allow students to choose their prompt.

Journal covers and pages with different line spacing are included if you would like to make your own journals, but students can also write in notebooks. I just make sure that they write the prompt number at the top of their page.

This file also includes ideas for storing and organizing your cards.

Individual sets included:
September
October
November
