PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a bundle of my daily writing prompts for the spring months (March, April, May). Each month includes 28 writing prompt cards, journal covers, and writing pages. Each month includes more prompts than there are school days, so you can pick and choose which prompts you would like to use.

Prompt cards are included in full color and black & white. In addition to the 28 writing prompts, a page of blank cards are included so that you can write your own additional prompts if needed.

Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:

March:
Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:
-How would you catch a leprechaun?
-Would you rather play inside or outside? Why?
-What would you do if you were the teacher?
-Would you eat green eggs and ham? Why or why not?
-Make a list of colors. Use your words to make sentences.

April:
Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:
-What do you like to do when it rains?
-How can you take care of the Earth?
-What would it be like if you were a duck?
-Would you rather plant a seed or pick a flower? Why?
-Make a list of things that grow from a seed. Use your words to make sentences.

May:
Examples of some of the prompts included in this set:
-Do you like to go swimming? Why or why not?
-How can you make a new friend?
-What would it be like if you were a grown-up?
-Would you rather be a teacher or a veterinarian? Why?
-Make a list of things that are fluffy. Use your words to make sentences.

The cards are numbered 1-28 and do not correspond to specific dates, so you can use them in whatever order you like. You can also have them at a journal center and allow students to choose their prompt.

Journal covers and pages with different line spacing are included if you would like to make your own journals, but students can also write in notebooks. I just make sure that they write the prompt number at the top of their page.

This file also includes ideas for storing and organizing your cards.

Individual sets included:
March
April
May
