Lego Batman saves the day! Use the two social stories or powerpoint to teach children about getting ready for the day and getting ready for bed. Print out the powerpoint to use as flashcards and have the children re-tell the story. There is a daily checklist for getting ready for the day and one for bed. There is also a weekly spreadsheet that the child can use to check off the routine steps for each day of the week.
You can print and laminate the charts and check off the boxes with a dry erase marker or print out the batman tokens (included) and adhere them with glue, velcro, or magnets.
This is great way to remind students the steps to take to get ready for the day (or get ready for bed). The checklists help them be responsible and feel accomplished. This is a great way to guide and remind children with autism in a fun way.
