This fun game allows students the opportunity to play and conjugate present tense, preterite tense and imperfect at the same time! All you need is 1 dice for each of your groups, 1 pen or pencil and a copy of the gameboard for each student in the group.
*Put students in groups of 3-5.
*Students select a magic number. Each time that number is rolled, the pencil will change hands.
Only one student at a time may write but they need to write quickly and neatly. (and their answers must be correct!)
*While a new person starts writing, the next student starts rolling the dice until they roll the magic number, then the pencil and die changes hands once again.
This particular sheet goes along with Expresate 2 Capitulo 6 (Los Recuerdos) but can easily be used with any textbook that is talking about the imperfect.
***CAUTION*** this game tends to make your classroom very loud and rowdy but the students LOVE it...they are so busy conjugating and practicing that they don't have any time for distractions and, you will notice, that even your most quiet students participate.
