What do Frogs, Ladybugs, Cows and Feathers have in common? Here is a cloze worksheet that you can use to encourage your students to write and have fun using their imaginations and present participles. The lines have a repetitive and rhythmic quality that will reinforce the grammar and vocabulary to be learned and the activity encourages the student to contribute their own vocabulary. Dancing frogs? Crying feathers? Students can choose their subject, fill in the blank with the appropriate verbs and the ending result is a short story, rich with imagination and Spanish language. This cloze text passage also allows the teacher to adjust the length of the passage as appropriate for the grade and difficulty level of their students.
What is included?
Two pages of lesson suggestions and instructions
