This quick play for the story Daniel in the Lions' Den is fun and easy to produce, with very little preparation. My first grade students performed this play for our all school chapel after only three days of practice, and it was a great success. It has 11 characters, which can be adjusted if you use more or less lions and guards. There are six short scenes, with minimal scene changes. I have included teacher directions with the script, and a photo (with faces obscured).
I also used the PowerPoint version of the play to display. With the great technology we had, the kids were able to look at the PowerPoint on the screen prompter display, but the audience just saw the Title slide, and the Scene Titles for each scene.
The PowerPoint is available for sale separately, or the script and the PowerPoint can be purchased together in a TPT Bundle.
I hope you enjoy performing this little play as much as we did! Thanks!
