Product Description
This video companion is based on a You-tube animated video entitled Dark Dark Woods. It is a 6:15 minute video. I stumbled across the video by accident, and it is exceptional. There are sound effects, but no talking in the video, which encourages the children to use their own imaginations. It is about a young princess, without play-mates, and overwhelmed by her responsibilities. She falls into a dream (or does she?) – and has a magical adventure with some scary (cute) creatures in the dark dark woods.

This is a very visually stimulating and entertaining video, with many themes which will likely stimulate all kinds of discussion and opinions from your students. The video would be a nice complement to any Fall or Halloween unit, or as a jumping off point for discussions around loneliness, responsibility, duty, fear, reality and fantasy.
