Students get inspired to set and accomplish goals by learning about the Japanese folk-art Daruma legend. They follow the tradition of filling in one of Daruma's eyes when making a To-Do goal list, and fill in the other eye when they finish. Students can also decorate the Daruma figure. This one-page original activity by Contemporary Education Resources of Oceanside, California is reproducible on a copier, and can be repeated again and again. Students of all ages and abilities will enjoy this.
