With one click, sail into your course content like a chauffeur driving students through the countryside. “Dashboard” allows you to do this. Click on the interactive steering wheel and the steering wheel turns left, bringing up a scenic view. Each scene is associated with a particular subject, designated in the graphic key.
Click on the scene and a menu of slide-show presentation titles will show up to the left of the scene. Click on a title to view its slide-show.
The dashboard (on one slide) contains 31 free, science presentations in geology, biology, math, physics and chemistry, covering the periodic table, anatomy, cells, life cycles, animal classes, rocks, energy, magnets, volcanoes, eclipse, moon phases, electric current, fossils, earth layers, zero, place value, exponents, fractions, math reasoning, weather, atmosphere and matter. There is a “standards” hotlink on the opening slide, which links to a virtual manual of standards for the subject areas of science, technology, history and mathematics.
The “dashboard” can easily be used as an appetizer to whet the students’ curiosity before introducing one’s own science content. Grades 4 – 9.
This is a presentation of a single slide. It contains embedded presentations. The platform is PP 1997-2000.
