Rhythm Races - 4 teams race to find the correct rhythms. Which team will win? If you have a PE teacher who can let you borrow scooters, this game is sure to be a big hit with your students, but will still be fun without.
Hardest rhythm concept: ti-tiri
Other rhythm concepts they need to know for this set: ta, titi, ta rest, tiri-tiri
All materials for this set could be printed on card stock and laminated to last a long time.
Use this game with any system for reading rhythms. This could easily be used as an extension from any Winter/Christmas song or even use the cards to have students compose a new rhythm pattern. Many possibilities!
