This tool is used to simplify and maximize the efficiency your data. This excel/google sheet tool allows you to organize your students and color code cells to represent data. This tool will help you quickly jot down data during lessons and after. One way this is used in my class is to record "check in questions" during math lessons and color code students performance. It is then used to group students in the moment. For example, All students who received "red" for my check questions after the lesson was taught would be pulled for small group. This tool allows me to see student performance patterns throughout units and shows the different types of small groups I am using in class to meet all the of students. This tool can also be used to check homework and visually see homework patterns and discuss with parents. Also, you can transfer this spreadsheet to a google drive and make multiple copies for chapters in a unit or months in the school year.
