This informational text presents facts and tips about data decay and data storage. Its layout is graphics-heavy and allows students to practice reading charts and interpreting visuals. You can use the accompanying multiple-choice questions (including a scaffolded version for differentiation) and/or the collaborative speaking activity with information cards about each storage option. Includes a full answer key with rationale and Common Core alignment. Also includes a brainstorming worksheet for the speaking activity. (grades 8-9)
