Students will use what they learn about measures of central tendency and variation and displaying data to work data related to the Olympic Games.
1. Students will research and print two sets of data related to the Olympics.
2. Students will find the measures of central tendency for each set of data.
3. Students will create the following data displays using the data they found.
* Stem-and-leaf plot
4. Students will also have the opportunity to create the following displays using the data they found.
* Line graph
* Bar graph
* Double bar graph
* Circle graph
