This item is a simple review I use with my middle school students. My kiddos work in groups of 2-3 as they work through each station practicing calculations of mean, median, mode and range. Making math calculations a bit more hands on.
Some of the stations require some materials to complete. Below is a list of stations and need materials
Station #1-Deck of Cards
Station #2- Readind a graph
No additional materials needed
Station #3- 6 numbered dice
You can use a spinner from a game board or build one with the template included in the product.
Station #5 Colored buttons or game pieces
I’ve used all kinds of items from monopoly houses, button and transparency circles. Just items to sort and count.
Station #6- Matching, Print and cut cards included
Station #7 M&Ms
You really only need one regular size bag to complete this lesson. What I usually do is have one at the station to complete the lab and hand out mini bags as a prize for completing all lab stations.
Station #7- Marshmallows
Any size will work.
Student lab sheets included. One version to be printed full size front and back. The second version is single side and can be folder and inserted into a student notebook.
