Do you need some challenging activities for those early finishers? Do you need math activites for students to do you while you are working with a small group? Do you want those activities to be something that doesn't required a lot of "extra" sheets?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this is the item for you. It is a calendar of 24 different data and graphing activites, prompts, games, math journal ideas, etc that students can choose to do. Each block will have them thinking and writing about math, and having fun while they are doing it.
For most of these activities, students will record answers in their math journals. However, in a few cases, a specific sheet is required. I have noted this with an asterisk (*) and included that sheet in the package. Students will also use dice and some type of number cards on a regular basis, so these need to be readily available.
4 each -- blank bar graphs, pictographs, and tally charts.
(I included 4 of each page so that you can easily print 2 or 4 sheets per page, cut, and give students to glue in their math journals or notebooks. Another option is that students can just draw their graphs.)
Correlates with 2nd grade Common Core State Standards, but could easily to used with first or thirds grades.
I will also be posting "A Month of" for the other mathematical strands
