Description

David and Goliath is a classic Bible story, but in reading it recently, I noticed that Saul wanted David to wear his armor and use his sword, and David refused. After refusing, he wore his own clothing and used his own sling and stones. In this lesson pack, kids learn that David was victorious because he had God, and he used the gifts God gave him.

This product features 7 printable activities that go along with the story from 1 Samuel 17. Students learn about the story or David and Goliath, how David used his gifts in defeating Goliath, how they can use their gifts, plus... there are coloring sheets! What is better than that?

This lesson is designed for K-5 grade, but would be ideal for upper elementary.

Includes:

  • 3 activities to learn the story
  • 1 page to apply the story to our lives
  • 3 coloring sheets
