Día de Los Muertos, (Day of The Dead) is celebrated in modern-day Mexico and Northern Central America. You will find folk legends and historical background through literature, close reading, graphic organizers and craft activities. This unit includes the origin of this tradition and the symbolism that define the beauty of Día de Los Muertos and that are rooted in the Pre-Colombian Meso-American and Spanish history.
