This zip file contains 7 different Day of the Dead Puppet Patterns. Day of the Dead Mexican holiday dates back to the time of the Aztecs. It is a worldwide celebration today.
Have fun decorating the puppets with colorful patterns and create a classroom play with a cast of 7 different Mexican characters! Take your play on tour to other classrooms at school.
I would suggest cutting out the patterns and tracing onto tagboard/ card stock. Tagboard would be sturdier for your students to trace around. The strings could be attached to the head, arms or legs, depending on your students' preference.
