Description

This easy to read, one page passage about daylight saving time explains:

  • where and how daylight saving time is observed
  • the history of daylight saving time and how it came about (including the influences of Benjamin Franklin, George Hudson, William Willett, and ultimately World War I)
  • daylight saving time today and current changes in US legislation that may do away with the biannual clock change

The passage includes 10 multiple choice reading comprehension questions, an answer key, and 2 self-scoring digital versions - EASEL and Google Forms. Color and black line illustrations are included to accommodate black and white printing.
