This is a math (and Social Studies) activity celebrating Daylight Savings Time. The activity gives a brief description of Day light saving time and the time zones. The U.S is in 6 different time zones!

Students will then answer 12 questions about the United States and the different time zones. Students will add and subtract to find the time in different locations. This activity is a fun way to talk about the history of daylight saving time, the different time zones around the world, and incorporate an interdisciplinary lesson within your classroom. These activity involves both Math and Social Studies!

HOW TO USE:

NO PREP necessary! Simply copy the activity for each student. Read through the history of daylight saving time and the different standard time zones. Students will then answer 12 questions using the U.S. Time Zones.
