I have something I must share. I am absolutely obsessed with all things "hands on!" I love little handprints and the excitement they bring to my classroom. The first product of many in my upcoming classroom theme essentials bundle, is a free gift to you. The Days of the Week Hands product is a clean, simple, and super cute addition to your classroom. Enjoy, and stay tuned for the mega bundle coming soon!
*As an added bonus, this product could easily turn into an IEP center as you are working on naming and sequencing days of the week with your students. Print two sets of the days of the week strips, laminate them, and glue one set to a file folder. Laminate the folder and add velcro to the middle of each strip. Cut out and laminate the other set and add velcro to the back of each one. You just made a matching activity!
* Try sequencing these in a pocket chart, or allowing your students to each grab a strip that is placed face down on the table. As they each grab a strip, let them sequence the days of the week correctly by forming a line! My students love doing this during morning meeting. It's a great way to model team work and collaboration across the SPED settings.
Happy learning guys!
