School can be stressful for students, add in testing and it can be extremely cumbersome for many. This is a great way to give students at any age level fun and relaxing homework or assignments before testing sessions or at any time. Allows for parent involvement and perhaps some much needed family down time.
Give students each a board (7 different combination boards to choose from) and have them complete tasks to alleviate stress that accompanies school and testing.
Tasks examples: Read a picture book, write a letter, watch a cartoon, eat a bowl of ice cream, take a nap, call a loved one, eat some popcorn, watch your favorite movie, and more.
Have parents sign off each square as completed and give an incentive for completing 5 squares in a row. OR use however you see fit.
