Use this easy prep lesson to help students prepare for spring testing by teaching them how to destress and relax. This activity encourages students to define stress, rate their present stress level, and reflect on how stress is managed presently in their lives. Students identify how stress affects them personally. Students learn nutrition information and other tools that will help them manage stress. Students create a 6 page foldable on relaxation techniques to keep. The foldable comes with step by step directions and pictures. With this activity, students are given the tools necessary to reduce stress and anxiety. The De-Stress & Relaxation Workshop can be used individually, in a small group, or for a classroom guidance lesson. This lesson will need 2 or more sessions to cover the material.
