Practice both Spanish-speaking countries & capitals and the phrases de dónde eres and soy de. Each student is given a card with the name of a capital city to imagine they are from there. Students also have a list of "______ (name) es de country." Speaking in Spanish using these key phrases, students complete this information gap activity by being told capitals and using countries on the sheet.
To scaffold students to use Spanish in the activity, I showthis video beforehand (I do not own and take no credit for its awesomeness).
