Product Description
One of the most common mistakes teens make is to get into a car with friends who have been drinking. This activity gives a student a list of I Messages that could be used in a situation like that to tactfully but assertively refuse to go with friends. It includes a dialogue form on which students can practice responding to provocative comments. In addition to asserting themselves, it also is an example of "putting their behavior where we want their attitude to be" By saying these things, or writing them in a class, they are more likely to take that attitude in a real life situation and protect themselves.
