Arthur Miller uses many symbols and images throughout "Death of a Salesman" to convey the play’s many-layered meanings. Have students keep track of each time Miller uses them in the play with this thought-provoking card set. Each student gets his/her own unique card to cite the page number and the line of dialogue/stage directions that correspond with the pictured theme on the front. A fun way to have student "scavenger hunt" for themes and symbolism within the play.
The PDF includes 5 pages of cards (4 up on each page) that yield 20 cards total. Simply print and quarter the pages to create a deck of 20 cards.
