This is a game to practice color words and speaking in full sentences and phrases in Spanish, for preschoolers through elementary students. This game is played as a follow-up, after singing or teaching the traditional children's song "Debajo del botón." This can be sent home as a worksheet that students can make and play with their families, or it can be used as a partner game in class. Students make the game by coloring and cutting, and then practice Spanish phrases using color words while playing the game. English translations are provided, and directions are provided in English, so that this can be sent home to parents who only speak English. However, if you use this as a class activity, you can demonstrate the game, speaking only Spanish. The drawings are original artwork and the game idea was developed by Sra. Baskett from Spring Into Spanish.
