One of the most important aspects of a debate is listening to what your opponent has to say, so that you can respond adequately.
This assignment gives students the opportunity to build skills listening and flowing (taking notes) during a debate round.
Each 15 minutes of a class period is treated as a separate argument, which gets it's own sheet of flow paper. The students will continue to flow each class period in successive columns until the end of the day.
Students are not permitted to talk throughout the day, and teachers will sign the verification sheet to let you know students have successfully or unsuccessfully completed the task.
