This is the season of wonder. The time of year when new memories are made and cherished traditions are once again shared with those we love.
In our classrooms, it is a time of delight for our young students. With eyes and hearts opened wide, our little ones see the world as a magical horizon with limitless possibilities to explore. They seek wonder. Our never-ending task is to create opportunities that open minds and generate new connections.
There is no place that I rather be than in my classroom during the holiday season. Children light the days of winter with their quizzical minds, shrills of delight, tenderness toward others, and their love of wonder.
I wish you a glorious winter holiday. May you see the wonder and love of the season through the hearts of your students.
With gratitude and heart-felt warmth for your encouragement, Susie
