This product includes 6 Math Centers for Kindergarten or 1st Grade.

This 'December Math Centers' product is for students in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Parts of it could be used with some students in preschool.

Description of the Six December Math Centers:
1. Roll & Cover: (5 board games)
Students use 1-2 dice and roll them. They count the number of dots on the dice and cover the number with a math manipulative. If the number they roll is already cover they continue until they have covered every number. (This could be played by 1 or 2 people at a time)

2. Sums on the Christmas Tree (Sums to 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10)
Students use the tree to thinks of multiple sums to the same number. There is a recording sheet.

3. Roll & Trace the numbers (5 Different versions)
Students roll 1 die and trace the number 1 time. They keep rolling until they have traced everything OR traced to the top of 1 or 2 columns.

4. Adding with a dice (Adding +1, +2, +5, +10)
Students roll 1 die and use the recording sheet to add the numbers together (sheets vary by numbers- Could scaffold this activity)

5. Penguin Tally Marks Memory (or Matching)
Print, Cut and laminate the cards to make more durable. Can be played by 1-3 students. Match tally marks to numbers.

6. Finish the sequence- Mittens
Print, Cut and laminate the cards to make more durable. Students write on cards and finish the number sequence counting up. Students should write on the blank mittens with dry erase markers once they are laminated.
