Three math graphs to use during December. Use in a pocket chart and have children vote by putting names or photos under each picture or glue on a chart tablet or on bulletin board paper and have children vote by writing names or tally marks under each picture. Compare rows: which row has more/less, the most/least, greater than, less than, same/equal? When teaching how to make tally marks for voting use the rhyme: 1,2,3,4, number 5 shuts the door, 6,7,8,9, number 10 draws the line. Students can take individual charts home to poll their family for homework. Two sizes to choose from - small for pocket charts and large for chart tablets or bulletin board paper.
