Hey ya'll! I am SO SO excited to share this product with you! I have created centers that are "December inspired" for you to use all month long! They are perfect for Kindergartners but would be great re-enforcement games for 1st graders who need that extra practice! Every game included in the bundle is available in both color & black and white versions. There are also recording sheets for each game--several games have CHOICES! (AND answer keys to make your life easier)! Some games are meant to be used as a center and others are "write around the room" activities to get your Kinder babies up and moving! Games included are...
Math Center Activities:
*Holiday Lights Missing Numbers (This game is available as a FREEBIE!): students will take a whiteboard marker and fill in missing numbers. Some of the missing numbers come before the number given since that can be trickier!
*Doll Number Sense Activities: students will place all number cards in a pile. When they draw a card, they will write that number in the box. There are 3 recording sheets to use based on your kids' needs! They can write the 4 numbers that come before they number drawn, the 4 numbers that come after or the number that comes before and after. (Number cards go up to 50 so you can easily differentiate for your high fliers!)
*Tally Around the Room: get your Kinder kids up and moving around the room! They will find a card with toys on it and match it to the appropriate spot on their recording sheet. They will tally the number on the card and write the total!
*I Spy an Equation: Another great get up and move activity! Practice those addition skills by finding a card, adding up the two numbers and writing the whole on the recording sheet.
*Real Deal or Totally Wacky: The kids will look at the words on the card and decide if they are real or wacky! All words are cvc words and can be decoded.
*Capital and Lowercase Sorting: There are alphabet cards that they kids can sort based on whether they are capital and lowercase.
*Capital and Lowercase Matching: In this game, the alphabet cards are used to match the capital & lowercase letters together! A great "concentration" game OR flip them all face up and let them get to work!
*Syllable Sort: picture cards have a toy on them as well as the word--students will determine how many syllables are in the word and put in the correct pile.
*Syllables Around the Room: Yet another "get up and move" activity! Review syllables by walking around the room and determining the number of syllables in the word--write on the recording sheet!
*Elf Color Word Matching: there are colored elves that the kids can match with the appropriate color word. (This too could be played like concentration or turn the cards face up and match away!)
