This product includes materials and instructions for four December themed sight word activities.
All activities are editable so if you want to switch out the sight words to better fit the needs of your students, just click on the word, delete it and add in your own.
There is not a ton of prep involved. Simply cut out the materials on the dotted lines and fold and tape the Christmas cubes for Roll a Sight Word.
December Sight Word Activities:
Spin a Sight Word- Using a pencil and a paperclip, students spin a sight word and color of Christmas light. Then they find the sight word on the recording tool and color it the correct color..
Roll a Sight Word- Using the Christmas cube, students roll Christmas pictures. Then they find the pictures on the recording tool and write the sight words that correspond with the pictures in the correct columns.
Rainbow Write- Students draw Christmas tree sight word cards and write the sight words on the correct Christmas trees. If they draw the sight word again, they write it in a different color.
Unscramble the Sight Word- Students draw Gingerbread Man cards with scrambled sight words on them. Using the sight word list, they unscramble the words and then write them on a cookie on the recording tool.
