### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this pack you will get a total of 6 Christmas-themed math tub/center games focused on the early kindergarten skills of number recognition, number formation, counting, number sequence, and comparing sets. These simple games will get your kinder students working independently and successfully during math rotations! I have included a description of implementation for each game below. Simply print the number of copies you will need for your math center groups, laminate for durability, and add any needed manipulatives such as dice, play dough, cubes, counters, or dry erase markers. I store each of my math tub games separately in a tub on my rolling cart.

Santa’s Workshop Roll and Cover
*What you’ll need: Laminated elves and toys game boards (one for each student in your center group), dice, seasonal manipulatives/erasers/counters
*How to Play: Each student will get a Roll and Cover game board, 2 dice, and 12 counters (you can use seasonal erasers or manipulatives, too!) Students will roll both dice, count the total amount of dots, find that number on their game board, and cover it. Students keep rolling the dice until all numbers are covered.

Roll and Trace
*What you’ll need: Laminated game boards (enough for each student in your small group), dice, dry erase or vis-à-vis markers.
*How to Play: Each student will get a Roll and Trace 1-6 game board, game die, and dry erase or vis-à-vis marker. Students roll the game die, count the dots, find that number on their game board, and trace it. Students keep rolling the die until all numbers are traced.
*Differentiation: Students who are ready for a challenge can be given the Roll and Trace 2-12 game board and two game die. Have them roll both die, count the total, and trace the matching number.

December Count the Room
*What you’ll need: Laminated counting picture cards hung up around your classroom, recording sheet, pencils, clipboards
*How to Play: Each student will get a recording sheet on a clipboard. They will search the room for each of the pictures on their recording sheet. Once the card with the matching pictures is found, they should count the pictures on the card and record the number next to that picture on their sheet.

Gumdrop Numbers
*What you’ll need: Recording sheet, laminated gumdrop numbers, pencils
*How to Play: There are 3 variations of this game included. Each student will select a gumdrop number and record the numeral on the gumdrop on their recording sheet. Depending on the variation you choose, they will then write the next two numbers, the previous 2 numbers, or one number before and one number after using the blank boxes provided.

Christmas Numbers Big and Small
*What you’ll need: Christmas present number cards (laminated and cut apart), recording sheet, pencils
*How to Play: Each student will roll two dice and count the dots. They will compare the 2 dice to determine which has more dots and which has less. They will then use the dry erase marker to write the bigger number inside the bigger Christmas wreath on their recording sheet and write the smaller number in the smaller wreath. You could also have students record the set (draw the dots) inside of the wreaths. They will erase the mat and continue rolling dice and recording the results.

Christmas Tree Teen Number Play Dough Mats
*What you’ll need: Laminated mats and play dough
*How to Play: Students will identify the teen number on the mat. They will create a corresponding amount of “ornaments” for the tree using play dough. They will place a corresponding amount of play dough pieces in the boxes of their ten frames to represent the teen number.
