This is a set of 30 pages that address five decimal concepts. Every page is designed to highlight a unique decimal thousandths number.
Given decimal notation, students will write the word name, shade a decimal grid model, write the equivalent fraction, give an example of two decimals that are less than the number, give an example of two decimals that are greater than the number, and use an inequality symbol to make a comparison between two decimals.
These concepts correspond to the following Common Core Standards:
This resource may be used in multiple ways. You may choose to have every student complete the same set of pages or have each student complete a unique page.
After demonstrating their decimal knowledge, students can color and decorate the pages as desired. Then you will have an eye-catching set of completed pages to hang around the classroom. This will allow your students to create a GREAT visual display of decimal thousandths!
