Students cut out each of the rectangles. Each card has a matching card with the same number but written in a different form. They need to find each match and then glue the pairs onto the bridge map. *This can be done individually, small group or as a center activity!
We use Thinking Maps in our classrooms regularly in my district. My students know how to use them well, so I did not need to do much explaining about use of the bridge map. If you’re students are not familiar with Thinking Maps or the Bridge Map you will have to model and practice before completing this activity.
