A game to help students practice saying a decimal in word form and writing the number in standard form. This helps students grasp a deeper understanding of place value.
Game Directions: Give each student a number. Have students walk around the room and find a partner. One person will ask, “What’s your number?”. The student will respond by reading the word form of their number. The other student must write down the number in the correlating box in standard form.
