Print, cut, and laminate popcorn pieces for multiple uses.
Students will pick two pieces of popcorn with decimals on them. Then students pick a piece of popcorn with an operation symbol. Students then complete the problem on the worksheet.
Great review activity for the end of the year or before testing. Much better than a practice worksheet!
*Buy plastic popcorn containers from the dollar store to make this activity even more interesting for the students.
If your students are good you may even want to give them real popcorn as a reward.
*Print operation symbol pieces on yellow paper so the pieces stand out more. Or place in a separate container.
If students finish before others they can pick new problems and continue.
Included is the following:
*worksheet for students work.
