Product Description
This decimals bundle contains 4 resources to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals.

Included:

#1: Adding Decimals Connect Four Game: Practice adding decimals with this fun Connect Four game.

It includes 16 decimal addition problems including decimals in standard, expanded, and word form.

Directions:

-Sit students in groups of 4. Each student gets a different Connect Four Board

-Cut out cards, shuffle, and place face down in the center of table. Cards should not be in order

-Students take turns drawing cards from the pile.

-Student 1 draws first card and everyone solves independently.

-They share answer, find it on their Connect Four Board, and cover it with a color tile, counter, or a small piece of paper

-First person to get 4 answers in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins.

#2: Subtracting Decimals: Practice subtracting decimals with this fun scavenger hunt game.

Directions:

-Tape decimal subtraction sheets (10 of them) to the walls around your room or hang from the ceiling (spread out). Make sure you don’t tape them in the order that they print. In fact, the more out of order, the better.

-Break up class into 10 groups.

-Hand each student a copy of the recording sheet.

-Place each pair or group of students at any of the 10 stations.
Each stations sheet has a code, which students will enter on their recording sheet as they answer each question. This is to keep track of the problems they have solved.

-Students work with partners to solve the problem on the paper and record it on their sheet. Then, they look for the answer they just recorded until they find it. Once they find it, they solve the problem on that sheet and so on until all stations have been visited.

-If they cannot locate their answer, that means they made a mistake.

-Students will end up where they started from.

#3. Multiplying Decimals: Practice multiplication of decimals with this fun math war game.

45 cards included.

Directions:

-Shuffle the cards and place them face down, giving each player an equal number of cards until the deck runs out. Each player keeps his/her cards in a stack.

-Each player turns one card face up and solves the multiplication number sentence.

-The person with the largest product keeps both cards (if playing in pairs) (or all three cards if playing in groups of 3)

-If each person has a number sentence with the same product, then it's war! Each player puts 2 more cards face down and turns up one of them. They solve. The player with the largest product wins the four cards (for pairs) or the 6 cards (if groups of 3)

-Continue playing until all cards are used. The player with the most cards wins

#4: Decimal Division: Practice dividing decimals with this fun scavenger hunt game. Your students will have a blast and will ask you for more.

Directions:

-Tape decimal division sheets (10 of them) to the walls around your room or hang from the ceiling (spread out). Make sure you don’t tape them in the order that they print. In fact, the more out of order, the better.
