This decimal activity allows students to create their own pizza. Students will first generate a list of pizza toppings. They will then decide which toppings they want and how many slices that topping will go on. Students will then write the fraction and decimal that matches their pizza slices. You can choose to use tenths or hundredths (tenths are much earlier). Students can create their pizza on construction paper and draw their own toppings. There are questions for students to answer once they are done creating their pizza. This would be a great center activity!
