NO PREP NEEDED! You will only need a dice. After playing this game, your students will gain a deeper understanding of place value. They will be able to compare decimal numbers through the thousandths digit while having fun doing it.
HOW TO PLAY: The teacher rolls a six-sided dice and announces a number. The students get one chance to record that number by deciding which digit will make the greatest value on their individual game boards. The teacher rolls ten times. Then, students discuss their numbers to decide who made the greatest (or lowest) number, and therefore, is the winner of that round. Your students are sure to love this game!
