Decimal Pocket Chart Number Cards 0.01-1 & 1.01-2

Decimal Pocket Chart Number Cards are designed for students to observe patterns with and/or without their teacher’s guided discussion and will fit into a traditional hundreds pocket chart.

Three variations of color are provided so that different colors can be used to highlight different patterns. If printing large amounts of color ink isn’t a problem, there are white numbers with red backgrounds, and red numbers with white backgrounds. For an ink saving version, black numbers are provided with white backgrounds that can be easily printed on different colored cardstock. To give students a broader perspective of decimal numbers, decimal cards with the whole number 1 are also included for an alternate to cards without a whole number.

The Decimal Pocket Chart Number Cards may be used in a variety of ways. Use the numbers for daily counting or the numbers may be used for other activities. For example, remove some of the numbers from the chart and hand them out to students to put back into the empty spaces. In order for students to place the number back in the chart, they must explain the pattern they used to place the number.
