Decimal Puzzles were created to show the multiple representations of decimals that students may see.
How to use:
-I suggest printing each card on cardstock, then cutting apart each piece before laminating for student use.
-There are ten different puzzles that students will have to put together. You can us this as a station or small group activity.
-Each page has 5 pieces - decimal number, grid, money, money, word form, and fraction form. Each piece is meant to be cut apart on the black solid line.
-Once cut apart, these cards can be organized in several different ways. Maybe you pre-sort them yourself or have the kids do it.
-Differentiation - to begin with, students can match the decimal numbers with just the grid or just the words until they get a better understanding.
