Spring into decimals with this fun review activity. Students practice matching the word form (number name) of decimals with the standard form (base ten numeral form) in this Spring themed Three in a Row game. A recording sheets and an answer key are included.
Print & laminate the Game Board and Problem Cards for students. Each student will need a copy of the recording sheet to show her/his work. Each pair needs an Answer Key.
Directions: Student A chooses a problem from the problem cards, writes the decimal in standard form, and marks the answer off on the Game Board using a dry erase marker. Student B uses a copy of the Answer Key to check student A’s work. Next, student B has a turn. Play continues until a player has marked off three decimals in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
This is a great review game for extra practice before state tests. Make a few copies to use as a math center during math rotations or have games available for early finishers to play!
