I have come up with 12 various ways that decimals can look. Such as being calculated using pictures, adding, converting from mixed numbers, improper fractions, or manipulatives. These are all pictures that students must cut out and glue onto a number line in the correct spot. I gave each student a SENTENCE STRIP and they had to make a number line that went from 0 wholes to 4 wholes. This was an assessment after learning all the various ways to convert decimals.
