This would be a great activity for a quick assessment over student's knowledge and application of decimals. In this activity students will roll a dot cube to create 10 different decimal numbers. They will record that number as well as its fraction, picture model, and word form. The students will then plot those decimals on an open number line. The students will pick four of their decimals and record the expanded notation of those decimals. To quickly review vocabulary as well as basic operations, the students will select two decimals and find the sum. Then they will select two decimals and find the difference.
