This fun common core math station is an easy way to practice the difficult concepts of decimals and fractions. This ONE activity can be used in several ways in order to differentiate math instruction for your students. I have laminated the printable sheets and the students use dry erase markers to complete. After checking with the included answer key, they trade sheets with another student and practice again! Another way is to use the blank sheet included and have students pick plastic coins from a small bag and toss on the sheet. The teacher can control which coins each child has (ex. only nickels & dimes) as well as cap the number of coins total. This helps with students who are below as well as above grade level. My students loved that they could toss their own coins and use crayons to color the grid!! They stayed on task with this station!
